Job Overview
Chi-Matic is looking for top quality leaders with 5+ years of Epic Revenue Cycle Leadership experience, specifically in the professional billing area. This consultant will focus on gathering business requirements, designing and executing solutions with professional stakeholders. The consultant will provide recommendations on charging, billing, denial and follow-up, as well as self-pay workflows and integrated systems. Similarly, the consultant will coordinate with executive leadership, Information Technology (IT), and cross-functional stakeholder groups to ensure that the planning and direction of comprehensive programs are aligned with the organization’s strategic plan and revenue cycle goals
Responsibilities and Duties
This role has the following responsibilities:
- Facilitate Revenue Cycle solutions across health care organizations; this includes understanding of the Revenue Cycle process and its full impact on the financials. Solutions include, but are not limited to:
- Revenue Cycle transformation
- Operational structure optimization
- Process improvement
- Operational training
- Implementation
- EHR best practice adoption
- Change management
- Revenue Cycle transformation
- Assist in the assessment, development and/or implementation of recommendations for optimizing revenue cycle operations within the charging. billing, follow-up and self-pay/customer service units
- Partner with revenue cycle operational stakeholders to integrate, monitor and communicate progress on stated goals or solutions
- Develop implementation plans that lead teams to success by monitoring KPIs and performance goals
- Communicate with client stakeholders and manage relationships
- Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Facilitate complex meetings, presentations and workshops to build client commitment
Qualification
- 8+ years managerial roles, of which 5+ years should be in Professional Billing or related areas
- Knowledge of detailed revenue cycle processes, specifically in an Epic ambulatory EHR platform
- Knowledge of the access and revenue cycle process flow and the interdependence of systems which affect revenue cycle outcomes
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Strong ability to speak to and drive operation key metrics
- Excellent oral and written cross disciplinary communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to all levels of an organization
- Specific knowledge in managing and improving the performance of complex operational systems and revenue cycle functions across multiple platforms
